Local Connection Ag operates according to this motto from owner and founder, Nathan Louiso. Born in the Buckeye State and raised in a family-owned business, with a career in the seed industry since 2000, Nathan believes loyalty and customer service are the foundation to a successful business. Adam Conrad, general manager, has been an integral part of the team since 2018. He aligns with these fundamentals and brings a wealth of knowledge to continue the growth of Local Connection Ag. Our team is committed to helping you discover products and solutions that will work best for your operation.
I often get asked, “What was your motivation to start your own company?” In most people’s eyes I had a great job and was very comfortable. What was I thinking? When I ventured into entrepreneurship, I had a clear vision for what I wanted to do.

MEET OUR TEAM
Adam Conrad
General Manager
Adam is a Certified Crop Advisor with over a decade of experience in the seed production industry, working across Ohio and Illinois. He currently serves on the Ohio AgriBusiness Association Board of Directors. Adam brings deep industry knowledge and a passion for agriculture. Since joining the team in 2018, he’s been a trusted leader — and was named General Manager in July 2024.
Adam and his wife, Samantha, are raising two children, Josie and Cooper, on their family farm near Richwood.

Julie Louiso
Julie is an Ohio State graduate with a master’s in finance. Originally from Sabina, Ohio, she was a State FFA officer in 1998. She is currently involved in the day-to-day operation of Local Connection Ag.
Nathan and Julie are the proud parents of Chance and Gavin (twin 14-year-olds) and Simon (11).
Justin Monroe
Warehouse Manager
Justin was raised on a small grain farm just north of Richwood, OH, and still plays a role in Monroe Family Farm. He served through 4-H, FFA, the Air Force at Ellsworth AFB and multiple deployments. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Ag Business from Ohio State ATI, he joined AgriCorps in Ghana.
